This smooth pudding, inspired by the flavor of Castella cake, was created using “Taiyo Eggs” from Nagasaki Prefecture with the aim of becoming a new Nagasaki specialty. It won the gold prize at a Nagasaki gourmet contest. Enjoy it with our unique “Zaramel” caramel sauce, crushed to evoke the crunchy sugar crystals (zarame) found on Castella. The combination of the crunchy Zaramel and the silky smooth pudding creates a delightful contrast in texture that’s fun and delicious in every bite.
