These apples come from Gonohe Town in Aomori Prefecture, Japan’s top-producing region for Jonathan apples.
Fresh apples are made into a paste right at the source and generously blended into this jelly. Although it’s made without any artificial coloring, it’s filled with the sweet-tart aroma of real apples.

Pop it open with a toothpick, and a smooth, round jelly springs out.
It’s extremely popular with kids and also makes a delightful souvenir.

How to Enjoy:
Pierce the rubber individual container with a toothpick, and the jelly will slip out smoothly.
Enjoy its bouncy, jiggly texture as-is, or freeze it in summer for a refreshingly chewy, mochi-like treat.
