A chocolate version has been added to our smooth Castella-flavored pudding, originally created using “Taiyo Eggs” from Nagasaki Prefecture with the aim of becoming a new Nagasaki specialty and winner of the gold prize at a Nagasaki gourmet contest. This pudding is made with chocolate and has a layer of chocolate sauce at the bottom. Enjoy it together with our unique “Zaramel” caramel sauce, crushed to resemble the crunchy sugar crystals (zarame) found on Castella. The contrast between the crunchy Zaramel and the silky smooth pudding creates a delightful combination of textures that’s fun and delicious in every bite. Chill well in the refrigerator for an even more enjoyable taste!
