Launched in 1976, “Nissin Donbei” and “Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O.” are long-selling brands that boast the No. 1 sales in the “Japanese-style cup noodles” and “cup yakisoba + abura soba” categories, respectively. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of their launch, this product combines the “rich broth flavor” of ‘Donbei’ with the “rich sauce flavor” of “U.F.O.” under the concept of “It got even better after the attack.”

We’ve paired our signature “U.F.O.” medium-thick straight noodles—known for their firm texture—with a “Special Dashi Sauce” blended in a 70% dashi to 30% sauce ratio. The result is a rich, layered flavor where the umami of bonito dashi harmonizes with the depth of the sauce. Inspired by “Donbei,” we’ve added a “special dashi powder”—a blend of bonito flakes and shichimi pepper—which enhances the aroma of the dashi and adds a spicy kick that sharpens the finish.
